Become an Individual Supporter of CUAH
There are multiple ways individual supporters can get involved with CUAH's efforts.
CUAH helps consolidate all the anti-hate and bigotry efforts around the county via our events calendar. Each of our CUAH Coalition member organizations can list their upcoming events on this calendar, so you'll have a snapshot of what's going on all in one place. We encourage individuals to attend our member organization's events and branch out to become involved with organizations you may not have associated with previously. Please also follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as we frequently post about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and other ways to get involved.
Another way you can support CUAH is to donate. Your generous contribution to CUAH helps cover our program and operational costs and allows us to unite our diverse community to combat bigotry, support victims of hate, and promote inclusiveness in Montgomery County, Maryland. Through your donation, we are able to power the rapid response, advocacy, schools outreach, Coalition, Network, and Online Hub aspects of our mission.
CUAH is looking to raise $25,000 from individual supporters by June 1, 2018 to help fund our program and operational costs. These costs include:
- YELP—our new Youth Engagement and Leadership Program
- CUAH conferences and events
- Materials for in-person community outreach, engagement, advocacy and organizing initiatives
- Online and social media outreach, advocacy, and grassroots organizing activity
Communities United Against Hate - Montgomery County (CUAH) is housed at Jews United For Justice, a 501(c)(3) organization. We provide no goods or services in return for your tax-deductible contribution.
We prefer you make your contributions to CUAH online. However, if you would like to donate via check instead, please make checks out to: Jews United For Justice and put CUAH in the memo line. Please include a note with your full name and email address (so we can send you the CUAH Action Alerts and CUAH Updates emails). You may mail checks to:
