This is the second in CUAH’s Fight Acts of Hate and Bias Training Series. This training will build off our previous one - Defining Hate - to support community members who are potentially living and operating in a hostile environment. Please join this workshop led by the DC Peace Team if you have experienced or feel at risk of experiencing stressful or hostile environments related to bias. We will share experiences and dip into our self-wisdom to help us identify fair and empowering ways to deal with stress and hostility. Coffee will be provided.
If you cannot attend on this date, we will be hosting the same training at two more locations throughout Montgomery County. Please check back here for updates.
We are conducting this training as part of a year-long training series to promote more consistent and thorough responses to hate and bias in Montgomery County. The series features four themed modules in the Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
