Racial Justice NOW

  • Executive Office Building Auditorium 101 Monroe Street Rockville, MD, 20850 United States (map)

Hi all

Montgomery County NOW will be hosting a panel discussion and Q&A on the intersection of racism and sexism on October 1.  Our panelists will be giving an overview on intersectional feminism, and diving into how racial inequality has real impacts on people of color, and specifically women of color, in Montgomery County.  Attendees will leave the event with ideas for tangible ways to take action to support our sisters (and allies) of color.  Our panelists will be Senator Susan C. Lee, Delegate Maricé Morales, Gilda Yazzie, Mimi Hassanein, and Laurie-Anne Sayles.  More details about the panelists and the event can be found on our Eventbrite page (link below).  Please get tickets for the event and share the ticket link with your networks.
